A 36-year-old man is brought in by ambulance having been involved in a motorbike accident.
Describe and interpret the following radiographs (click on images to enlarge):
- There is a significant deformity to the wrist with fracture and dislocation involving the distal radius and proximal carpal row, with multiple displaced fracture fragments from the radial aspect of the distal radius.
- There is a significantly displaced fracture of the scaphoid.
- The wrist is dislocated radially with significant widening between the scaphoid fragments and the lunate.
- there is a displaced ulnar styloid fracture.
